It describes what happens when you visit dictaquill.com and when you fill in the early-access form. The Dictaquill app gets its own policy before any public download exists. The short version of that one: the app has no server, and your audio and your words stay on your Mac.

What the early-access form collects

Your email address, the boxes you ticked, the languages and computer you chose, whether you want to try the current version, the price answer you gave if you gave one, and anything you typed in the optional note. Alongside those we record which page you signed up on, the time, your browser’s timezone name (for example “America/New_York”, never your location), the address of the page that sent you here if your browser shares it, and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

We do not ask for your name, your firm, your practice or your phone number.

Where it is kept

In a Google Sheets spreadsheet in the developer’s own Google account. Google stores it on our behalf. It is not shared with, sold to or uploaded into any marketing tool, advertising network or data broker.

What it is used for

Deciding what to build, and writing to you when there is a build for you to try. Nothing else. Every email will include a way to stop further ones.

How long it is kept

Until early access ends or you ask for it to be removed, whichever comes first. If the project is dropped, the list is deleted.

Seeing or deleting your entry

Write to hello@dictaquill.com from the address you signed up with. You will get a copy of your row, or confirmation that it has been deleted, within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or social-media scripts. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Visits are counted in aggregate, without cookies and without a profile of you.
